Do I move out or stay and work on things? How?
Two teenage boys over 18 moved home to be with me for the first time in many, many years. My boyfriend tries to be a good role model but sometimes gets "bitchy". The oldest of the boys is rather lazy at times but is trying to do better. The younger has a job and still wants to be a kid at times but does help around the house. Boyfriend thinks they should be home during the day and up and about helping him with the house. I get caught up in the middle when he gets mad at them for not respecting him and doing as he asks. It's getting out of hand and I'm very stressed over it. He says I interfere when he tries to talk to them and he wants me to stay out of it. I'm very over protective of my boys and I'm afraid that if they don't like it here they'll move away. I need help.

Well OK I am gonna try to do my best because you didn't release more details but let me say that you are a mother, not to children but to young men who understand what responsibility is. So instead of being over protective and standing as obstacle in front of your boyfriend, why don't you do draw the line and make the rules clear to your boys. Because everyone has to do their part and when they fail should be hold accountable.
You may advice your boyfriend not to overreact most of the times and try to be nicer when guiding the boys.

If they are over 18, then they should be out working, or getting an education. I agree that they should help around the house, but your bf is not their father, so he has to learn to take it easy with them. If he wants their respect, he has to earn it, by giving them some respect as well.
