Sleep Deprivation?
I am fully aware that my sleeping habits are terrible. I stay up from anywhere between two thirty and four every night and most mornings I have to wake up at six for classes. At first I was able to crash in the afternoon and be fine when I woke up, but the past couple of days I can't sleep even though I want to. I will toss and turn for hours trying to get the sleep I know my body needs, but it's no use, I just can't sleep. Even mornings when I can sleep in I still can't sleep past eight o'clock. Why is this? I'm sure if I began with a healthy sleeping cycle it would eventually return to normal, but is there a reason my body won't let me rest? Any thing is welcome!
Also I eat really healthy, I don't drink soda, or anything with caffeine (coffee included). I take a vitamin supplement and almost never eat sugar . . .
I've never tried any form of drugs either
It's not that I don't understand how to fix the problem, but I'm curious to know why? Even at night when I'm exhausted I can't fall asleep.

Weird suggestion, but don't read non-fiction before bed.
If you're planning and thinking about stuff, its a lot harder to fall asleep. Practise just thinking about nothing, and remaining motionless completly. Then usually you'll fall asleep pretty quick.
And try sleeping in a perfectly dark room. Black out your windows.
