First, it's best to get a healthy amount of sleep every night--a solid eight hours would be a great start, and drink a lot of water. Those are the two best natural and reliable ways to get long term results.

However, if you are looking for temporary yet quick results (whether it is before going out in public or for taking photos), applying something cold to the eye helps significantly. Keeping a spoon in the freezer and then applying it to your eyes for a few minutes will reduce both the red tint and swelling. If the spoon is too much for you to handle, keep a ziplock of frozen peas and apply those against your eyes instead.

    Good luck! :)

I have puffy eyes too, and the best thing is to prevent it not try to treat it after you have it.

For me, I get puffy eyes from lack of sleep and allergies, but more so allergies.

I take 2 benadryl before I sleep every night and one claratin in the morning. I know it sounds like BS, but it really has done wonders to reduce the redness and puffiness around me eyes. Aside from that, I have a prescription of Elocon (hydrocortisone) that I occasionally use if my eyes get REALLY puffy and rashy.

I have heard a few fixes.

    Chilled cucumbers

Chilled moisturizer (I think, maybe eye cream though)

I think they make little masks that you can put in the freezer that will reduce puffiness.

I use "Eye Doctor" by Origins before I put on makeup and that helps too. You just have to search for a product and then maybe try chilling it to increase results.
