I'm not sure where to begin. In both cases, the target of the attack poses no particular threat to the attacker. I think that's where the similarities end.
Israel and Iran are far more well-matched than the USA and Iraq. Neither Israel or Iran would likely have any interest in occupying the other country, and would therefore have no need to budget for the high long-term costs of an occupation. It would be difficult to conduct any sort of land war between Israel and Iran, since they do not border each other and none of the countries between them would grant transit rights to either side for a land army. Both sides would probably engage in massively destructive bombing and missile attacks against military and mixed-use targets, but Iran in particular would freely attack purely civilian targets as well.

Well Since our planes in the Iraqi no fly zone were routinely attacked by Iraq I would say we defended ourselves after being attacked. Israels attack will be pre-emptive but justified.

Iran wants to wipe Israel off the map - kill every single Israeli. Not exactly the same thing as a going in to remove a psychotic murderous dictator.

Simple Iran would target civilians and the US does its best to limit unintended damage.

George Bush committed war crimes for no good reason. Iran would be defending its peaceful energy program...Why not??

It would be no different. An unfair invasion is bad regardless of who starts it.
