Im not religious and I dont believe in evolution because there is no proof that it exist, and there are many facts to show it couldn't happen. The problem with people who believe in evolution is, they think just cause it was taught in school it must be right. They then think people who believe in creation are dumb, but yet dont take the time to read the facts to show evolution itself is just a theory which there has never been ANY evidence to show its REAL.
Like I said, people who belive in evolution are just ignorant and dont want to admit to it. Why out of the millions of scientist in the world have not yet figured out where all this came from? Cause they have no proof. If you think creationist have dumb beliefs just check out what people who belive in evolution think is real. THe bing bang theory is complete bs and theres been facts to show that along with everything else.

Answer: As my religion sees no conflict between the religious beliefs we hold and evolution -- I have no problem in saying that evolution is the most likely probablity given the evidence we have now.

I am. Nowhere in the lore am I told to take things literally.
It'd be pretty silly if I actually believed that Thor flies thru the sky in a chariot pulled by goats, now wouldn't it?
I am free to understand the gods and also allow for what we have learned in the many years that have passed since the lore was written down.
I don't have a problem doing that. Factually, we know that thunder and lightening are not Thor throwing Mjolnir, his hammer. However, Thor is the very embodiment of raw power, and so are thunder and lightening. Seems to me that the interpretation of the ancestors was pretty much right on the money.

Yes, religious and believe in evolution. My religious beliefs do not focus on the great debate between the atheists and Christians. I can accept that I don't know how this world was created.

faith isn't a perception - this is an concept. The non secular think of this is a sheer toss up between believing in God and believing in faith - the former happens with suggestions from applying faith - the latter is an concept and arrives by way of information - it is not a count number of private opinion - evolution exists in spite of what everyone believes. people who think of God started the BB or created evolution - are merely no longer problematic liners - and have yet to swallow the full set of information that there is not any God. God ought to no longer have started the BB - it needs NO best mover - and in addition to - you will could ask WHO MADE GOD? Evolution purposes and arrives devoid of any help from a chief mover in spite of what ignorant critiques happen to exist - the data are the data.

(Sorry, I'm not religious but I have to reply to Shadow Dancer.)
Shadow Dancer, you ask us to read Genesis 1 and 2. Which are we to believe then? Did God make plants before people (1:11-13, 27-31), or after people (2:4-7)?

I'm Catholic and believe in Evolution.
Funny thing is, I use the evolutionary idea of Natural selection to refute Atheist arguments.

I am a Christian and I do NOT believe in the THEORY of evolution. I believe that God created the heavens and the earth and all that is in them in the six days of creation and then he rested on the seventh.
read Genesis 1 and 2 for more info.
