Any one else sick of the Favre saga?
I am a huge packer fan first. I love Favre for what he had done(past tense) but it is time for the future. Rodgers should get his shot. Who else feels this way? We need to start showing support for the packers not just one man(Favre). Rodgers is the man now and let him prove himself. Also who is supporting Rodgers out there?

I'm sick of it. If Favre had come right out and said he was coming back, that would have been ok. But instead, he dragged it out, said he would retire, un-reitred, and now wants to be realeased. Does he really want to play for someone other than the Packers? That would really ruin his legacy.
On a side note, I feel really bad for Aaron Rodgers. He has hardly played the past few years, and it seems he was finally going to get his chance, then this happened, although he doesn't seem to care. Packer fan here BTW.

I am more of a Favre fan, and the only thing I am sick of is everyone passing judgement. I am interested in how this turns out, and hope that Favre plays next season, in a good situation, Packers or not. As for Rodgers, I don't really care about him one way or the other. If I were a Packers fan, I would be behind him.
What I don't get is why it is such a big deal that he wants to play again? Where he ends up, and everything will be worked out. Right now the Packers are playing it close to the vest to see what they can get for him.

I think everyone is tired of it. If the Packers don't do something soon, it's going to be a huge distraction for the team. Either he retires for good or the Packers give in and release or trade him. I don't think a lot of teams will take a chance with Favre. He's only got one year maybe 2 years tops.

I'm conflicted on this one. As a Packer fan, I respect Favre and would love to see him play another season, but why jerk everyone around now?
I think that maybe it is time to let Rodgers do his thing. It would suck to be in his shoes right now.

Im a Bills fan but definatly sick of the Favre saga. Rodgers is a young talented QB and its time for him to step out of the shadow of Favre. The Favre is turning into the one the Yankees wen't through with Clemons.

I am sick over it because it really makes me sad. I love Favre, I think he is one of the best QB's ever to play and he is a down to earth normal guy. I was so sad when he announced he was going to retired, I cried listening to him on ESPN radio during his news conference. It will be weird not seeing him as the starter for Green Bay anymore. I don't like Rodgers, he is accident prone and kind of clumsy, but honestly I don't think I would like anyone taking over for my Number 4! I wish the fans feelings mattered more so we would not have to go through this flip flop of emotions, am I welcoming him back(would love to) or saying good bye forever?

Thanks for asking this question, because I thought I was the only one. Brett Favre needs to get out of the NFL for good, by doing what he's doing he's only ruining his reputation. As it seems that the whole country has always loved him, I've never been a fan of his, and this coming out of retirement is the last straw for me. I haven't lost respect for his football playing ability, but I have lost some respect for him as a person.

farve did his thing. DID is the key word. he had an incrible career. and he needs to realize that he needs to leave the game. the packers have a great organization and rogers has alot of potential and has 2-3 great recievers. if anything farve should encourage rogers to start as qb. hes watched him for 3 years. i think rogers has a good idea of the postition should be played.

No, but I am sick of questions about Brett Favre.
