Do I have a higher chance of having twins?

I was supposed to have a twin myself but early on in my mothers pregnancy she miscarriaged the other twin. Then on my fathers side his dad is a twin (my grandpa). Does this raise my chances of having twins? (I wouldent be the one having the baby because im a guy)

    No.

Fraternal twins (two eggs) runs in families on the mother's side. So you being a twin has nothing to do with this part.

Identical twins are purely random and only "run in families" as coincidence.

Nope, the women your with might have twins if she releases two eggs, but that is the only way your chances of having twins producted.

I'm not sure, my husband has a set of identical twin girls from a previous marriage, and now I'm pregnant with twins, we don't know fraternal or identical yet so it may be a coincidence. oh and only fraternal twins come from 2 eggs, identical twins come form a single egg that splits... fraternal twins are ALL mom, identical twins i don't believe science has proven which side they come from

  • Nope. Having twins has nothing to do with guys part!

It's the mother who has to release two eggs.

My husband is a twin, and our doctor told us that our chances of having twins is slightly higher than the average person. I'm not sure why, but there you go.

nope, your odds are not increased BUT if you ever have a daughter then her chances of having twins are increased because you could pass the trait to her.

See as you were a twin, then you are in the upper pecentage of having twins.

    No

Twins have to do with the mothers eggs. And sperm have no effect on that.
