why it is so hard for man and woman to be just best friends?

Purely because the problem of sex stands in between.

By and large as per the old Indian wisdom a man is physically more sexual than a woman. As made by nature he is attached to gross physical sex. On the other hand a woman is more vitally sexual. She likes the embraces, the kisses, the touches, the subtle aspect of sex. However, when it comes to gross physical aspect , it has and will always remain abhorrent to her. The idea of Satihood in India and Virginity in the west was/is prevalent among women and not men. Many a women will remain pure and virgin without gross physical sex whole their lives if they had not to succomb under the pressure of a man. - husband or a boy-friend.

This psychological difference both the women and men ignore, and thus arises a tension. This is the chief reason that why it is so hard for a man and woman to be just friends.

In love there is only , - to give and give and give. Whereas in sex it is desire and want and want and want .

the thing is it really isn't

in order to be best friends with anyone , both people must put the other persons feelings ahead of almost everyone else on the planet.

a good friendship is like a marriage, it takes hard work and dedication to make it continue working.

if only one of these people works at being fabulous then this is not a true friendship. one sided is not a real friendship, so if it ends then there is no harm or foul. if one of these people takes advantage of the other constantly then this is no friend.

try thinking of most people as acquaintances.

and don't dispair. most people on this ball called earth don't have any true friends.

be a good person and refuse to let yourself be taken advantage of ..
