How soon can you receive child support in AZ?

I live in AZ and I am almost six months pregnant. The father wants nothing to do with helping out with the baby! Does anyone know how soon I can file for child support?

As soon as the baby is born you can file. He will probably contest and there will be a paternity test. It may take a few months before judgment

after the baby is born and paternity is established-- call the free lawyer help lines for advice they always have on the news to make sure

After the birth...but you are going to have to prove its his first. You will need to go to court and get a court ordered dna test, then if you prove its his...then you need to get court ordered support payments.

After the birth. Until then, the cost is all on you.
