I am looking to buy a laptop for internet/email, I want to spend around $350-$500 what should i buy and where?

    go to best buy and they can help you out there. for the high end of your spending (around 500) you can get a pretty nice compaq or hp which last for a long time if you take care of your stuff.

    You can buy it from ebay , but if ur gonna spend that much money i would just go to a store.
