I'm 9 weeks pregnant and have developed a bad eating habit?
Theres not much that I seem to want to eat. The thought of eating some things makes me want to gag. I'm finding that I'm letting myself get so hungry I throw up. Its not something I'm doing purposely and I'm trying to stop it, but its so hard when theres hardly anything I can face eating.
Its not morning sickness, I've had that phase and its passed (thank God) and I do try and eat, but more often than not its too late and 2 minutes later it comes back up. I'd like to know if anyone else has had something similar happen and how they stopped it and if you think it's worth going to see my GP? Thanks in advance!
I cant keep dry toast down or crackers. I usually just grab a piece of fruit or a sandwich, but they arent staying down much either....

It could still be "morning sickness" just rearing it's ugly head in a different form--that usually goes away between 12-14 weeks, but for some women, continues long into pregnancy. I would definately suffest talking to your OBGYN about it--if you're not eating, your baby isn't either and cannot develop properly, so you need to figure out how to get some nutrition in for you and the little one. Good luck :)

I would recommend setting up an appt with a Nutrionist so that they can give you ideas of what to eat and how often to resolve your problem.
I've always had a really bad gag reflux and I'm a picky eater so that's why I went and I'm glad I did because I gained a healthy weight and my baby is always nurished.....he's 7lbs 4oz already and I'm only 36 weeks.
Good Luck!

Sounds like food aversion and a form of morning sickness. Uh, your only nine weeks, morning sickness usually disappears around the second trimester.
It will go away, mine did, now all I puke is liquids, but that is getting less and less as I learn to drink more.

How about plain saltine crackers and dry toast? Your stomach should be able to keep those down. Try and eat small things throughout the day instead of big meals.

I had that. Find what ever you can stand and stock up! Mine was tater tots and crinkle cut french fries. If you do something like that you'll learn how to eat it fast enough. I used to have tater tots for breakfast lol. Good luck!!

I am no expert, but I'd say that you should definately talk to a doctor. She can recommend food that you maybe haven't thought of.
p.s. congradulations on the baby-to-come!!
