My 16 year old son wants to be a pilot. He is a very good child and takes responsibility well.?
I believe in him. He's done awesome with simulators. No crash! Planes and Helicopters. Would you take a ride with him controlling?

Hell No. He needs to go to school in order to become a pilot, he needs to take classes to get a pilots license. Until then anyone who would fly with him is a damn fool.

I don't fly lol never have never will unless my boys were like in another state dying or something. My oldest son is going to be 6 and he wants to be a pilot too. I would say that at 16 he should be taking fly lessons now with a licensed instructor and start learning how to really fly a plane and see how he does. A simulator really isn't real enough to say how he will do flying the real thing. Look into real flying lessons for him and let him see how he does.

Well, the first lessons he will have to take with a qualified instructor, only when he gets so much experience, and passes the first exams (which includes emergency training) and a medical, will he be able to fly solo, but he won't be able to take you as a passenger until he fully qualifies as a private pilot.

He can't just fly a plane without taking serious lessons for a certain number of hours, which are required before a person can operate an airplaine or helicoptor.
So, no i wouldn't go anywhere with him until he got his pilot's license.
i hope he follows his dreams!

Heck no!!!
not unless there was a trained person sitting right next to him ready to take control incase of emergency.. in that case yes that would be a great thing for him to experience and a good way to let him know who proud of him you are.

I would, as long as he gets his license, or if I had a parachute just in case. I've always wanted to go skydiving.

Sure, once he had his pilot's license!
He is old enough to enroll in classes.
