What's the best option for an uninsured couple?
I'm forty-nine, no real health problems. My wife is forty-three, has several chronic conditions, none progressive or life-threatening.
We make a decent living, and can afford to pay for REAL insurance, not the has-more-holes-than-Swiss-cheese type.
What should we do? Which companies are the best at dealing with people like us?

Hmmm...seems like you have so many uncertainities and fears in your life. This stems from an unbelieving heart. Until you fill the God-shaped vacuum in your life, you will always have these uncertainties.

Check around with insurance brokers to see what it is they offer, look over your options. Also, make sure your broker has been in his/her profession for some time and has a steady back ground (BBB.com may show as well).

Contact companies that have been in business for long time, like BC/BS (whatever it is called in your state). Also check with insurance broker that you know to be trustworthy (ask friends).
