What will happen to the earth after the rapture?

In the rapture, Jesus will not return to earth, but call His people to meet Him in the air. After that there will be seven years of tribulation, the last three and one half will be wrath. Then Jesus will return to earth to set up his kingdom and in the comming will destroy the army that has beseiged Jerusalem. The Earth, now in very bad condition because of the wrath, the bible tells us will return to an Eden like condition. The earth will be so fertile the sower will overtake the reaper, Children will play with animals now consided dangerous and peace will pervail on earth. After the thousand years, when satan is released a little season, he will again stir up the people, who will again come up against the camp of the saints, probably jerusalem, This time God will not bother with a personal appearance but destroy the whole thiing with fire. Even the heavens will be destroyed so new ones can be made, amazing isn't it.

Only born again christians whose lives are free of sin will make the rapture. That is approximately 5 percent of the 6 billion people on earth. The vast majority of christians including Bishops and Pastors will be left behind. Those who do not believe on Christ will of course miss the rapture.

When the true church is raptured, the Anti Christ will emerge, initially making a peace deal with Israel which he will break mid-way in a 7 year period called the Great Tribulation. To do business of any type,during this period, you will be required to take the mark of the beast, 666. Whoever takes the mark has signed for eternal damnation. While the great tribulation is going on in the earth, true believers will pass through the Judgement Seat of Christ to determine the kind of rewards they can expect and then move of to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in the heavenlies. It is the hope of all true believers that one blessed day, all the pain, ridicule, persecution and sufferings will be over!.

After 7 years, the battle of Armageddon will be fought with the largest army ever assembled marching against Israel. Israel will then cry out to God for the Messiah who was rejected over 2,000 years ago. He will physically touch base at Mount Olives, defeat the enemies of Israel and usher in the Millenial reign of Christ, a period of 1, 000 years during which Christ will physically rule on earth. There will be no pains or sickness or death during this period.

Actually you have been misinformed. If there is going to be any kind of rapture whatsoever it will only be in union with Mother Earth. Otherwise there is no possibility for humanity but the Earth will survive!

in the rapture its only the followers of God (or Christians) that are raptured...

those that believe there will be a rapture pretty much fall into 3 categories....

- there is the pre-trib rapture idea that shortly after the rapture whats known as the 7 year tribulation will start where at first everything will be somewhat fine and then the last 3.5 years will pretty much be hell on earth.

- there is the mid-trib idea which is that the rapture happens at about the half way point

- the last major idea is known as post-trib which it the idea that the rapture will happen at the end of the 7 year tribulation and those raptured will meet Jesus in the clouds as he is descending from heaven to judge the world.

Psalms 104:5 says the earth was not made to totter.

There will not be a rapture because Revelation tells us that there will be survivors of the Great Tribulation and Armageddon who will inherit the earth.

We don't even know for sure that there WILL be a rapture. The word is never actually used in the Bible. We only know there'll be a second coming of Christ.

there will be people on Earth. It will be the ones who do NOT get raptured. Only the people that have accepted Jesus into thier hearts will be raptured, thoose who are not will be left on earth for 7 years, suffering through hell on earth. You dont want to be here. Hey, this is truth I know you guys are scared and dont want to hear it, but hey, you better start shaping up and get saved while you can. The rapture could occur anyday now. Gods signs are showing. Earth quakes, hurricanes, natural disasters, people claiming to be jesus, its all happening. This means dooms day is near. Get ready!!THis is a serious truthfull answer.

Everyone isn't goin to heaven jus those the repent and are baptised, to recieve the gift of the Holy Spirit are raptured up, everyone else is left here to deal w/ the tribulation. read Revelation, it i'll tell u all about it.

there will be a huge celebration. with all the Christians gone off to their Christian exclusivity club in the sky the Earth will be a whole lot more peaceful and a lot less crowded. if Jesus would just rapture the squabbling siblings of his daddy's other two religions the Earth would be near to a paradise.

PS. "the meek shall inherit the Earth". there's nothing meek about the adherents of the very aggressive and often violent Abrahamic religions.
