enlarged spleen and lymph nodes, and anemia??

my 3 year old daughter went to her well child check up yesterday and the doctor noticed she had an enlarged spleen and lymph nodes. He also did a finger prick and found out shes anemic. He called for a lab for her and it will be back sometime before next Tuesday...(the lab didn't know exactly when, but the dr. will call me when its in). he said it probably wasn't mono because she doesnt have any of the other symptoms. i have looked on the internet, and found some scary things it could be(such as leukemia and lymphoma) but i was just wondering what some opinions are, if you have any experience in the area...what do you think it could be? what types of treatments are there for enlarged spleens, or do they just shrink back normally?

thanks in advance.

I am not sure about what is ailing your daughter. But the internet is not a good place to go to get answers to health problems. Let the doctors do that. But just to let you know I was anemic when I was a kid. I was born with a hole in my heart. I'm now 47 years old healthy as can be. Doctors did a great job of fixing me up with I was a kid. And that was back in the 60's. Obviously medicine has come along way since then. So don't let it worry you too much have faith the doctors will do everything they can. People are strong creatures and can take a lot. So hang in there!

He also did some test and sent me to the mayo clinic by this time i was about 14 or so. Come to find out im anemic and i had these rare blood disorders called hemochromatosis and genetic sphereacytosis them together can be the same symptoms as leukemia and hepatitis c. but talk to your Dr and see what they say

You will have to absolutely see your medical professional approximately your enlarged lymph nodes seeing that they've remained enlarged for an extended interval of time and that you've a household historical past of lymphoproliferative disease. Given your instances, nevertheless, I would not fear an excessive amount of in the way in which of melanoma. As you have got mentioned your lymph nodes grew to become enlarged whilst you have been in poor health with an contamination six months in the past, which means that they have been doing their process. Now you think fully pleasant which would not be the case in the event you had lymphoma. If you had lymphoma your situation might most likely have endured to become worse, or on the very least remained the identical. Sometimes after an contamination your lymphnodes do not go back to their usual dimension. This is traditionally known as "shotty lymphnodes," a fully benign situation. See a medical professional simply to be trustworthy, however do not pressure your self out.
