My cat was declawed on March 16, just the front paws. Now she's favoring her right front paw (started 2-3 days ago- thought I'd give her time to see if it would get better and it hasn't) She seems to be in some pain. I was wondering if it had anything to do with the declawing, or if she might have hurt it some other way.

I'm calling her vet (they are at lunch right now! I tried a few minutes ago.), but wanted some opinions.

(Oh, and before everyone jumps in on the old argument about declawing-it was the most horrible thing I have ever done, and I wish I could take it back. I had no idea what all it entailed, and even though I did some research, I didn't do enough. When I first saw her after she was declawed, I was devastated! It was horrible.)

I am constantly bloated, more after 5 pm than before though. It seems to go down over night, but it's doesn't go away. I am dizzy, constipated, my stomach aches, I have hot flashes (even though it's 30 F outside--and 67 F inside). I am achy all over, especially my lower back. I have tingling in my extremities and my hands and feet go to sleep easily (even if I just cross my legs, they will both go to sleep).

I am 23 years old and have a mirena IUD as my birth control. (I have had it for almost 8 months now).

I have an appt. with my gyno, but its not until Jan. So, I was wondering if there was maybe something OTC I could take to ease my symptoms, or even make them go away (even better!).

I filed for bankruptsy last year, and I kept my car in the bankruptsy. I still make my car payments on time. WIll the 'bailout' have any effects at all on this?

my 3 year old daughter went to her well child check up yesterday and the doctor noticed she had an enlarged spleen and lymph nodes. He also did a finger prick and found out shes anemic. He called for a lab for her and it will be back sometime before next Tuesday...(the lab didn't know exactly when, but the dr. will call me when its in). he said it probably wasn't mono because she doesnt have any of the other symptoms. i have looked on the internet, and found some scary things it could be(such as leukemia and lymphoma) but i was just wondering what some opinions are, if you have any experience in the area...what do you think it could be? what types of treatments are there for enlarged spleens, or do they just shrink back normally?

I got a puppy about 2 weeks ago...(a gift) and we went on vacation last week, and got a puppy sitter to take care of her. We got home, and the first few days she was acting normal, happy, playful, just like she was before we left. and about 2 days ago, she got really lethargic, and seemed depressed. then she started throwing up, and got diaherrea(no blood in it), and she won't come when we call or clap anymore. she is about 8 weeks old. i planned to call the vet to get her shots this comming up, but instead, i called today to make her an appointment(shes going in on saturday). I was just wondering what i could do for her until then. she is so miserable...i feel so bad for her. at first, i thought she was throwing up because she ate a cookie my daughter dropped on the floor...but i think it should be out of her system by now. =/

so, any suggestions of what i can do to help her feel better until saturday?

On May 6, i took my dd to the doctor, she weighed 13 lbs. 11oz. Today, I weighed her at home, and she weighed 13lbs. 6 oz. (different scales used for the weighing, but i would have expected her to weigh at least what she did at her doctor visit 2 weeks ago).

lately, she has been upset whenever I feed her, acting like it's painful. she hasn't been eating as well as normal, and my letdown is slowing down(it used to be fast). but she gets so frustrated while she's eating, it worries me, since she is losing weight. i have tried pumping, and i get about 5 oz from each breast, so i don't think its a supply problem if i can get that from pumping. she has about 2 poopy diapers, and 9-10 wet diapers a day. so, i feel i shouldn't worry, because she has good 'out-put', but i can't help think that something else might be wrong. my oldest dd had an internal hemanginoma(mass of blood vessels) on her liver, the doctor said it wasn't genetic, but it worries me that something could be causing this.

i have a honeywell thermostat. we hooked it up about the middle of feburary, it worked fine for our heat, but now it isn't working on central air! so we're burning up in here. i have been searching the net, and cant find any where on how to fix it! anyone have any tips? or know how to hook it up right?

my mom is a wonderful, caring person who gets stepped on, by just about everyone but me and my grandpa. my grandpa has health problems so my mom helps out with him, my grandma has errands to run and doesnt drive so she takes her(if she can find someone to sit with my grandpa.) i am a college student and mother of 3 kids(aged 3 months, 2 years, and 4 years) so i can't help too much. i try, but my mom also doesnt want me to. sometimes i wonder if she's a glutton for punishment or if she doesnt want too much on me. my sisters have teenaged children so they could help, but wont. they expect my mom to watch their kids while they work or take their kids to sports/hang outs, but my mom is stretched to the limit! i dont know what to do. should i say something to my sisters? they dont normally listen, but it is driving me mad! everyone is so rude and make their own problems and schedule things they dont have time for and expect her to fix it!? how could i help out?

i got my nose pierced about 3 weeks ago. A week ago, what looks like a blood blister appeared right next to the piercing. I have continued cleaning it 2x a day. Is there anything specific I should do? Will it fix itself or should I go back and talk to my piercer about what to do?

ok, i know in AR(my state) the statute of limitations is 2 years.

In November 2005 i had an IUD inserted, by a med student(of which i was not informed) and she didn't check my uterus. She pushed the IUD straight through my uterus to my stomach(which had to be surgically removed in March 2007) Then i got pregnant, and had a baby in December. in January, i found out that my uterus was tilted backwards...

SO! my question is since i just found out about my uterus being tilted and would the statute of limitations start from when i found out about it(Jan 2008), or would it start from when the IUD was inserted(Nov 2005)?

my youngest dd, 2mos, doesnt like to lay down, doesnt like to be worn in my bjorn, so i ordered a moby, i love it, she doesn't! what do i do? it just stresses her out...i am at the point where i need two hands to deal with my older children (aged 2 and 4) and get chores done. should i be persistant with her? she starts fussing when i put her in the wrap and i try to calm her down, but she just cries harder and harder, so i take her out. i dont know what to do!

I have a 2.5yo who would not nurse, i felt very guilty about it-i wanted her to have the benefits of breastmilk, and i still do. i have a nursing 7wk old now, should i try to nurse my 2.5 yo too? or should i pump and give her milk? or just try to let it go?
