What's=does it mean what is/has?
I used to think that "what's" could only mean "what is". Many people use "what's" to mean "what has". Are both correct? Can "has" be shortened to just "'s". Please give me something to back up your answer so I know that you're not just making it up off the top of your head. <3<3

Both. The apostrophe s ('s) can be short for "is" or "has", or perhaps even "does". Maybe a few other words, as well.

I think both of them are correct....
For example,
What is up? = What's up?
What has been going through your mind? = What's been going through your mind?
