What do you think of this menu idea for an informal wedding...
My wedding is somewhat informal. It's in a backyard in October of 2008. I was thinking of a simple rehearsal snack of pizza, salad, and garlic bread stix. What do you think? The wedding menu is appetizers, deli, salads, ziti, and hot vegetable. I don't want to have a huge dinner the night before the wedding.

Great idea! Simple, easy, filling and a choice just about everyone likes. Your wedding menu sounds the same.
Congratulations and best wishes.

your wedding - all parts rehearsal included.....should reflect you and the grooms style. You need to look back at this happy event in your life years down the road and be able to say "i loved everything about our wedding" It is about you - your day (or days) to shine and be the happiest you can be. Congrads and enjoy!!!
we had a very informal wedding as well - and to this day ( 7 years later) I am happy with it - our guests had a great time - in shorts and t shirts, not stuffy suites and ties.

If you want a pizza party for your rehearsal dinner, go for it. You could always get specialty pizzas and gourmet pizzas, yum!

I would serve a dinner meal; it doesn't have to heavy, just a meal of some sort. Maybe you can add a meat or something. Especially since you are only having deli style food for the reception.
