Sheet vinyl flooring help
After two water leaks which destroyed our wood flooring, we decided to install wood-look vinyl sheet flooring in our living room and hallway. I would like a continuous flow between our living room and the L-shaped hallway. How can I do this? It seems like I will need to buy almost double the flooring.

Sadly there is no cheap solution to what you wish to do. If you want the hallway and living room to match, you will have to buy the extra tiles. The good thing, is those tiles aren't all that expensive.
However, you can do your living room now and the hallway later on.
Just use a door stop, across the doorway. They are usually brass, and will make a clean and clear stop.

Most are missing what your asking about Tiff.. It ll depend on how you run the pattern. Get a store owner or your installer out to answer it.. If you run it one way then all you ll need is an extra 3 l/f plus pattern match to do a hall ( if hall is less than 12 ft.) If longer you ll need an extra 3 l/f and another seam. That s if you don t have a piece from another part of the room from other seams that you can use..Since I dont know room size or exact shape this is all I can help you with GL

When you have to add to the vinyl you lay the new piece on top and with a straight edge you cut through both of then at the same time for a seamless look when you put them together.
