Punctuation question for dog answer regulars!
I just got the funniest "tip" when I answered a question. (The kind that pops up while your typing a response.) It said, "Hmm...it looks like you have a lot of punctuation".
I'm a good writer and know when to use punctuation. Isn't it ironic that I got a notice like that when so many questions are so poorly written with no capitalization or punctuation?
If your dog could be represented by a punctuation mark, what would it be?
Buddy, my long-haired chihuahua, would be a comma -- because he's always resting! (Usually on my lap!)
Edit:
THis is the sentence in question.
When I see someone with a dog, I'll ask "Can we come say Hi?"

I get that error a lot as well. It is also funny to me the categories that Yahoo will try to assign a question to.
As to your question, Eli, my Lab, would be a whole line of exclamation points. He is SO hyper. Notice the blur in the following picture (he is always like this):

When he is still, he looks like this:

Molly would be a question mark. She always has a confused look on her face when I tell her to do something. If she has her raw meat bone and jumps on the couch, I tell her to get down. She looks up at me as if to say "But, what did I do?" So cute.
Here is an example of her questioning stare:

I have just noticed those "tips" popping up, but I haven't really taken the time to read them. I appreciate the use of proper spelling and punctuation, but don't feel the need to criticize poor spelling or grammar.
My Malamute would definitely be an exclamation mark since she is always ready to go, and go, and go!
My male Yorkie would be a question mark because he always tilts his head inquisitively trying to figure out what the heck I am talking about.
I have more pets, but I will stop there or I will run out of punctuation marks before I am done!

I keep getting that, in fact I find myself adding an extra comma, or exclamation mark!, just to see if I can get it again!
Oh yes, and there it is.
Hmm...it looks like you have a lot of punctuation.
Then it says that the Hmm is misspelled and I need to open spell checker! Yet that's how they spelt it, very strange!
I think my Milly would be a question mark,?, she always looks a little puzzled, as though to say "what's that?, what do you want me to do?", but then she is a chocolate Lab and we all know they are a little dim, very lovable but dim.

I get that warning constantly. It's quite annoying, especially when I know I'm using correct punctuation and anything less would be incorrect and harder to read.
I also hate the "did you leave caps lock on?" warning when I type something like 'pH' or 'GSD'.
The spelling warnings are annoying, too. 'Papillon' is considered incorrect by Y!A. I know it's a French word, but they should at least add dog breeds to their dictionary.

Helly, my dobe, would be a ? as she always has the most questioning expression. Asbo would be an & because he's always with me, Gremlin would be a ! and Russ would be a £.... because she's cost us the most in vet's fees!
(I know that £ and & aren't punctuation marks... so I've extended it to which symbol on my keyboard would fit best...lol).

One of mine would me a (.) Since he always has the last word. The other would be (?) since he always cocks his head like "what, when, how and why"
The new promts are a little weird. I know I would rather wait until I finish the answer before it starts gripping at me. Even though I tend to forget to spell check.

My dog, Lily, would be an ! point because she is always jumping up and down! My other dog, Sophie, would be a ? mark because she likes to jump like Lily, only she tries to flip so that she can get the treat first!

My dog would probably be a . because she's getting older and she has like no energy left and she's kind of just *there*. I feel really bad for her because she doesn't even play with her toys anymore!

Sevn, who likes to bounce off the walls, would be an exclaimation mark. Chancey would be a period. She is laid back and calm.

I know, I hate the way the answer page is now.
Alexis and T'pol would be periods.
Pinky, London and Butter would be exclamation points
