Is anyone else tired of Brett Favre???

I am sick to death of hearing about Brett and the Packers. Brett made his decision to retire. He has toyed with the idea of retirement for a few seasons now. Why should the Packers take him back? Yes he is a great QB but he is not the whole team. Brett set records, broke records and played a very good game. The fact is HE chose to retire. HE chose to leave his team. What were the Packers suppose to do?? It just seems to me that it is time to let Brett go, he made his decision and he, along with everyone else needs to live with it. So now he will play for the Jets...good for them. Why would Brett leaving deter anyone from still being a Packer fan?

I'm personally a Bears fan so I can't say that I'm disappointed he got traded. I thought he was a good guy though, and I'm so sick to death of the media coverage of everything...I mean seriously anytime this week that you would turn on ESPN all they were doing is analyzing what people's expressions could mean, or what his attitude...it's like come on. He came out retirement and did what he did...let's move on he's a Jet now, it's done. Way too played out. It's like my hubby always says, no matter what a true fan will stand by their team no matter how great they're doing or how much they suck. =)

That is the problem with modern sports media..The over analyze everything before it even happens..Then when it happens the re-analyze again..Total waste of time..

This was worse that trade deadline days or drafts...

I was tired with the story 2 weeks ago.

You would think that there was only 1 player in the league.

And I really got annoyed when the NFL Network (not the Brett Favre network) revamped their whole schedule to show a Favre biography and superbowl moments and history on the Jets and Packers..come on.

I am tired of Bret Favre. If he wanted to come out of his retirement and play for another team he shouldv'e told the Packers straight up instead of dragging the situation this long. Not only has he divided Packers fans but has left the Packers with a semi-bad rep.

I totally agree! I have been a packer fan for 16 years and I have loved Brett. But this is just ridiculous! I dont know who to be mad at more, the Organization, or Favre.

I am so freaking tired of Brett. Even though he is one of the best players to ever play the game, this whole deal with him got old a long time ago. I am so happy that he finally got what he wanted and that was a trade to another team. I bet if we are tired of Brett, you have to wonder what commissioner Godell is feeling like. Not to be funny, but Brett is about to be back in the headlines as much as we hate it, it is going to happen. They media is going to be checking his progress in New York and interviewing him any chance that they get.

Yes, I am so tired of him. He's a big baby who is only concerned with keeping himself in the spotlight. He's been doing this retirement dance for years, and McCarthy and Thompson grew weary of his flip-flopping. I'm still a Packer fan. I say "good riddance" to Favre. He's shown us just how loyal he is. *ss clown.

I know where you are coming from. But keep in mind, it isn't Favre or the Packers making such a big deal about this, its ESPN that won't shut up about it.
