  • Cosigner and lease question?

Alright, I put my signature on a lease with 3 other people. There was a 5th person coming to sign on a later date. But on the day when us, the first 4, signed the lease, the other party (landlord) didn't sign it yet, likely waiting for the final person.

After I put my signature down, they asked for a cosigner. AFTER. If I cannot come up with a cosigner, am I still somehow bound to this lease? Does it depend if the landlord later signed it?

  • I've got a question about some programs, if I can uninstall them?

I'm really trying to clean out my 4 year old laptop (Sony Vaio) because I'm too cheap to buy a new one and it's still working just dandy. No gaming though.

I've tried doing some base google research on the stuff and didn't find anything useful.

Here is a list of programs I'm wondering if I can safley uninstall without making my computer be "deprived of what it needs":

    Vaio Media Integrated Server

    Vaio Media Content Collection

    Vaio Media Redistribution

    and plain old Vaio Media

Are these 'required' or something of some sort to play media at all? They are all around 30mb.

  • Help me, quick! I really need your help?

By taking a survey for my research paper! It's on health care with some background information.

It's completely anonymous and only I will see the results.

This is very important to my paper because I need A LOT of people to fill it out. So if you could take it, that's be awesome.

If you feel like being very helpful, you could pass the survey on to other people you know!

  • How would you say this in Irish...?

    the phrase "No, thank you"

I know how to say no and thank you, but is there a more common expression or phrase that means the same thing? I don't really know Irish very much, so I'm looking for better insight.

  • How does this sound? Too basic?

Hello, I'm trying to actually write more of song lyrics than poetry. I don't have any real experience but here are a few lines. If you could give me some feedback, like if it's stupid and too straight forward and trying to make too much of a reference etc... . And also if you think it would be good to start off a song or poem with or if it should be more in the middle.

    "

What's left, but to tell of our past?

We were aimless Romeo and Juliet

Looking for a longing love, we knew wouldn't last.

    We weren't such tragic lovers, but yet;

    ...

    "

Obviously it's not much at all and isn't even finished idea, but how does it sound?

  • Help my big Kitty please!?

My 16 year old cat started acting up today. He wont close his mouth all the way, and he eats a little food (wet or dry) but then he backs away meowing. He also starts meowing when he jumps on something new, like a couch as if he hurt himself. And at random times. He also wont let me easily check or even touch his mouth.

Can you give me any suggestions of what to do? His entire life he has never meowed more in one day than today.

And yes, I am taking him to the vet tomorrow.

  • Funny way to confuse somebody?

I recently got enlightened to jokes such as 'you dropped your pocket', and 'your socks are untied'.

What are some other things I could say like that?

  • This is bugging me, maybe you can help?

    What is the derivative of:

    sin(x+y) = 4 ?

Sin of anything will never equal 4. This confused me, this was on a quiz I just took.

  • How would you go about...?

    proving:

    cos(4x) + cos(2x) = 2 - 2sin^2(2x) - 2sin^2(x)

Im not a kid asking you to do my homework. I did it a way, but I think that there would be a must simpler way.

I'm hoping to get some response, but this one could take awhile to figure out.

  • Suggestions on a plot.?

I just had a brilliant idea for a plot for my short story. If you've heard it before, sorry, but I just thought of it myself.

Its pretty much a romance story. The whole story is about these 2 lovers having a great time, I explain them on a date or something. But the twist is, after every date when they say 'bye', they say something like "we've only got 5 more days". And then I'd tell about the next day, in which they would say "we've only got 4 more days" and so on like that, until you get to the last day. And in some way (I'm not sure yet, that's why Im asking you) the reader finds out that one of them dies from cancer (or something like that, again, I'm looking for suggestions)

Hopefully I explained this idea well enough, do you get it?

Any ideas how to make it better, this is a pretty vague idea.

  • Grade Point Average?

I like to think that I'm a 'naturally' smart person. I never study and I get straight A's. Next year, I will only be a junior, but I will have more than enough credits to graduate. And I will also be taking 3 honors classes and 1 AP class(keep in mind I'm only going to be a junior). And at least 2-3 more AP classes next year.

But, I have gotten 1 A-. So my grade point average is like 3.989. If I continue to get straight A's in high school, is that one A- going to come back and hurt me? Like when applying for colleges.

I have pretty high expectations for myself.

  • Talk about sports, make money?

I'm looking into creating some kind of blog, so I can put Google AdSense on it, so I can make money. But I was wondering, if I wrote about sports or really any other thing, could there be some possibility of getting sued for copyright infringement, or something along those lines?

  • Nintendo DS?

I'm thinking about selling my DS to my friend at school because I never really use it. But I'm wondering how much I should ask for it. It's a little over a year old, but with a good Windexing, it should look brand new. I'm also going to give him the only game of mine that he likes, Mario Kart DS.

  • Recommend a School.?

I'm currently a Sophomore in High School. And I just wanted to get an idea of what colleges I should look into. I would like a college in the Mid-West, I'm probably going to major in something business(not sure what part yet), a rather prestigious school(I get straight A's in school), and I'd also prefer a school with no religious affiliation.

If anyone could give any ideas of any schools that are like that, it'd be great!
