What could this be coming out of me?
I wiped this morning when I got up and I had some kind of brownish reddish goo. I'm around 3 months pregnant. I never had anything like that happen when I was pregnant with my first. It was just a little bit but I'm still concerned since I haven't seen anything like that since my first period ever. Any suggestions, besides calling the doctor, going to the hospital, etc...?

Call the doctor, you shouldn't bleed or spot in the 3rd month. Best wishes.

Glad you've got the doctor calling bit. Thats about all you can do. The same thing happened to me, It was old blood from an examination. Its not neccesarily anything serious, but like everybody will tell you... call the doctor and keep an eye on it. Don't let people scare you!! Its most likely NOT a miscarriage if its not red blood. Take care.

I just went through a similar scare myself. I had a brownish discharge around 8 weeks. I was freaked. This is my third pregnancy and I've never had anything like this happen. So I called my OB and they said as long as it's brown it's old blood. She said that it could even be caused by constipation. I wouldn't worry too much unless it continues. Mine lasted for about a day. If it continues and is definitely red, call your OB and get checked out. Better safe than sorry. Good luck to you.

Go to the doctor. I have had 2 miscarriages and this is how the first one started. It wasn't painful or anything and I know you can spot during pregnancy but it is old blood and a sign there may be something wrong. Sorry, don't want to scare you but there is a possibility. Rather go get it checked to make sure you catch any problems now than leave it and regret it.

I see those who said go to the doctor have been given a thumb down... But they're right-at this stage, you shouldn't really be bleeding or spotting and you should get to your doctors pronto. Unfortunately there is a chance your body may be getting ready to miscarry. Good luck and take care.

I'm sorry, I know you don't want the answer of go to the doctor but it's really the best option. The very least, he tells you it nothing and you don't have to worry about it anymore.

if it continues call your doc you could be getting ready to mis carry. it sounds like a mucus plug. spotting and mucus are normal while pregnant as long as they arent in excess. call your doc to be safe.
