Plumbing..bath/shower
Shower head trickling while running a bath. I put in new faucet/diverter but it still somehow trickles while bath is running. Could it be some buildup in the faucet housing that is causing water to shoot up to the shower head or ???

is this a three handle tub and shower valve ? if so you probably need to replace the seat along with the new washer. so the new washer has a smooth flat seat to rest on.they make a seat removing tool but you can usually unthread it with an allen wrench of the proper size.you can also try to get a trool to resurface the seat or try some emery cloth the smooth it out .
