Are the old jokes actually kind of helping McCain??

That's why I usually include "angry" as well as "old" when discussing him. And he is angry and old, regardless of how many hard-core republicans give me a thumbs down in his defense.

Here is an example of this type humor.

John McCain Is So Old....

....the Big Bang woke him up.

....Mike Huckabee doesn't believe in evolution, but John McCain witnessed

it.

....it takes an archeologist to dig up dirt on him.

....in 1st grade he only had to learn one continent on the flat earth.

....ALL parties were toga parties when he was in school.

....his library card says "Alexandria" on it.

....his copy of the Bible is autographed.

....he owes Moses twenty bucks.

....he remembers when Iraq was Mesopotamia.

....Joe Lieberman has to remind him not to refer to Iranians as

"Proto-Elamites."

....he voted against funding the Pyramids.

....when the walls of Jericho fell down, he blocked legislation to rebuild.

I think the old jokes show a total lack of respect for older people. Every time I here one of these jokes, I lose total respect for the person saying them. Older people have a lot of experience, and we can learn from them. Since when is experience a bad thing. I think McCain's ad's show that he is not to old to put up a good fight!!!

yes, the majority of voters are 55+ and when you hit to close to home with a voter, you lose their vote. while the youth will undoubtedly be pro- obama. they will be too busy on election day to actually vote and will therefor let the older generation decide this election once again. (our youth is lazy and they want instant gratification and feel that anything you have to wait for is not worth having) when in reality it is the other way around!

If it goes too far it will really make old people mad and they're the one that vote.

yes....old age and treachery will overcome youth and enthusiasm everytime....
