Well... I love ayashi no ceres and Fruits Basket for the love ones. You said you don't like robot ones. Well I will still say Absolute Boyfriend is kinda a robot one but it has drama in it and kinda for older people but still good it is only a manga though. It has a live action one but not as good as manga. Karin about vampires such as Vampire Knight which is kinda new. But Vampire Knight lotta love not all episodes ot yet but sols be with subs on youtube soon

Vampire Knight is Romance. =3 Special A, Ouran Highschool host club and Fruits Basket are all love stories too (really good). They don't revolve around war. =)

Then theres also the Suzumiya Haruhi series, Soul Eater (ehh.. some war going on? Sorta), Death Note (not really war but its like mass genocide lol, really good though) and umm... I can't recall more then that.

"They are my Nobel masters" its a romance anime with some comedy and action. its about a brother and sister who move to japan looking for a job. they end up saving a girl from a rich family and become servents(butler and maid). the story is about the friendship and love between the new butler and the three sisters of mansion. it was one of my favorites. had great art. you can watch it on http://www.crunchyroll.com/

If you don't mind reading manga another great romance( my favorite) is absolute boyfriend. this anime is about a sort of attractive girl who ends up ordering a boyfriend on line. she thinks its a joke and makes him amazing at every thing for fun(i mean everything) thinking they wont send him. of course when he actually shows up it becomes alot harder for her. this anime is all about the love between the and trying to over come obstacless. you can find this one on http://www.onemanga.com/

another good romance/action with a little comedy is "spice and wolf" this one is about a merchant who meats the wolf god Horo. the god is actually a beutaful girl. only problem is she has a tail and ears. the end up travailing together and all maner of things happen. the anime is about the freind ship and maby eventual love between them. it also has great art. you can find this one on http://www.instantz.net/anime/Spice_and_Wolf.html

I really like Negima. It is about a ten year boy who is a wizard who becomes a teacher at an all girls high school. Sounds a little dory but they are really good.
