A good selection and a bartender who's up to snuff. For a club, the same + good music.

I like a laid-back place, not too fancy, music that's a little loud but not loud enough where you have to yell, a dance floor, the floor isn't covered in puke, snacks, dartboards and pool tables, and they serve Miller Lite. And they know when to kick the drunken jerks out. Oh, and a beer should NOT be $5+.

that old bar smell.. old people.. regulars.. people who look like they have been in their all day.. bartenders having a decent conversation with their patrons.. pool.. dart board.. more than 8 beers on tap others in bottles..
