Obviously, we are basing this on "for personal consumption".
If you have carrying-on luggage full of pseudo-ephedrine, you'll probably raise a few eyebrows. But if all you've got is a packet of paracetamol/tylenol... no worries.
I carry "over the counter" drugs with me all the time. Basically because drugs that I can freely get at home, may not be available at my destination.
Have you tried chewing gum though... for your ears.
NO!!! Don't stick chewy in your ears! LOL
Pop a few pellets when you first notice the plane starting to descend.
Chew, chew, chew.
I swear by chewing gum to help equalise the pressure in my ears.
No pain, and no side effects.
Well, providing you chew sugar-free gum. LOL
Hope that helps.

Definitely yes, but don't wait until you GET the pain, take the analgesia approximately 30 - 45 mins before you fly .

Of course. They can not tell you you can't take these on the plane if they're for your own personal use.

Course, i mean they can't stop you. If you get ill, it will be their fault that they've taken your medicine!

I'd guess their over the counter meds?...Yes to that question
Source(s): Are they in the likes of: Tylenol, Motrin, Bayer, etc. - gromit801Lv 71 decade ago
Yes of course. Just make sure the name on the prescription bottle matches your name on the airline ticket.
