Do you think that statements from Hal Steinbrenner are what makes the yankee haters come outta the woodwork?

Yankee haters are ALWAYS out of the woodwork....LOUD AND PROUD TO HATE-EM

I'm surprised that he didn't run out on to the mound with a microphone after the final out and chastise the team right then and there. Have you ever had a boss that you knew didn't know jack squat and that person had no business being your superior? It's really hard to enjoy what you're doing and put in 100% effort in that situation and I think thats where the Yankees are right now. I could be worng, but I think that organization would benefit from Steinbrenner taking a long vacation, leaving the baseball to the baseball people and just letting the team play ball and have fun.

Anytime a person or organization has an in=your-face kind of existence it is not uncommon to have dissenters. We were here long before Hal, and we'll be here offering an opposing view, sometimes in a less than genteel way, long after he is gone.

He has his father's swagger and ego, but not his understanding. George knew, or at least learned, that other people were better qualified to make baseball decisions and to run the team. Maybe Hal will learn someday, too.

Yes! He and his father are reasons people hate the Yankees. They keep on talking and talking and complain about everything that goes wrong for the Yankees. I'm a Yankee fan and I like how they run the team because they are always trying to improve the team but sometimes they need to be quiet.

He's just taking the baton from his old man. He knows the Mets are in first place in their division. The Red Sox are having a better year. How else is he going to keep his team on the front page of the sport section?

Maybe one of the reasons but I am sure the haters could come up with many more.

Yankee haters and their small *****'s are always out there. They have miserable pathetic lives so they feel they have to tear down the most popular franchise in all sports. And a few sub par years are not going to change to change that.
