Any questions I should ask a florist?
Other than the basic contract details? I know virtually nothing about flowers and am just starting to meet with some florists..
Also, I love the rose petals down the aisle look.. Does anyone know where I can find something similar and still keep the look?
Please help with this question too! I posted it yesterday and got no answers..

Make sure to ask your venue their policy on rose petals. Sometimes the real ones can stain the floor and they don't allow it. I think your best bet is to try Michaels for some fake rose petals. Or you can try Save-on-crafts.com and look at their freeze dried rose petals:

As for the florist - if you are trying to do things on a budget then you can ask her what flowers she recommends. Most of the time carnations and gerbera daisies are very affordable. You can ask what flowers are in season around the time of your wedding, etc.

Ask what plant existence would be in season regionally around your wedding ceremony date. this could keep you plenty and is likewise environmentally friendly because of the fact the plant existence don't be could desire to be transported as some distance. besides, ask approximately plant existence that final longer in case you could choose to take them from prepare consultation dinner, to ceremony, to reception (yet another fee saver). confirm which you do talk whether the marriage is exterior/indoor so the florist is familiar with what temperature/humidity the plant existence will could desire to be able to stand as much as. Ask in the event that they have stay vegetation/plant existence to lease. some florists/backyard centers try this. that's yet in any different case to keep funds and be eco-friendly. of course you'll want some decrease plant existence for bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages, yet you're in a position to apply potted vegetation as centerpieces and issues like topiaries as web site ornament. additionally, a tip I picked up from a bridal good purchase e book: think of roughly who (if anybody) you convey with you and what you're utilising. you will observe that florists don't have their fees displayed prominently like a quickly nutrition eating place. that's because of the fact they regularly have an considerable wedding ceremony mark-up, and might even see a nicely dressed bride arriving along with her mom (assuming the mothers and fathers are chipping in and the funds is consequently greater) in a fancy automobile as a substantial funds cow. So, if achievable, evaluate taking your maid of honor fairly of your mom and arriving in modest motor vehicle, dressed truly casually.
