Does Magnavox DVD Recorder/VCR with Digital Tuner(ZV450MW8) allow you to record one channel and watch another?

i want to be able to record one channel and watch another. wasnt sure if just because it had the built in tuner that would be possible.

    I have a similar Magnavox model and I can't do it. What I record, I have to watch.

    I haven't tried using the analog video/audio input jacks while watching TV, though (and I haven't read the manual to see if that would work).

    hi Jeanette, i won't be able to respond to your question yet i'm incredibly happy you asked it because of the fact I do the comparable element and in Canada we are going digital in 2011. i'm aggravated via the greater equipment i'm going to could purchase yet now i understand I could seek for the words "twin tuner".
