Are there any Obama supporters that weren't swept away early on?

It just seems like, from word of mouth, that most Obama supporters got swept away by an early Obama speech and have been strongly devoted since. Are there some Obama supporters that used to be highly critical of him and changed their mind??

I agree they are emotion driven, think with their hearts, not with their heads. That's why Michelle gave a speech primarily about her relationship with Obama rather then telling Americans what she & Obama will bring to the table if elected. Yes it's a nice story designed to tug at the heart strings but what help is it to anyone?

My sister argued with me that it would make history for me to vote for Obama, and I told her that our country had plenty of history, but what we needed was someone that could get us out of this economic mess that we find ourselves into at this time. I will tell you that the fact that Biden is on the ticket is a relief for me, and I will not vote for him until I hear him utter the words that we definitely had better times during the Clinton Administration, and that he hopes to learn from these policies. He should do it because he has surrounded himself with all the Clinton experts. He also need to acknowledge that he can't win without Hillary support, and humbly he is asking the Clinton supporters to give him an opportunity to make good on Clinton's promises. Then and only then will I know that he is truly ready to become the people's President for all people of color, non-color, gender, etc.

America has forgotten what it took....the kind of leaders that lead this nation during the greatest period of this nations existence....Do you think George Washington was just a iron clad general.......he had to be inspiration to inspire his troops to fight the Brits.....and Lincoln he couldnt be a pansy....he had to have a dream of a better America a unified America where all men where treated equally..........Americans need to recognize that China is gaining on the US in both wealth and influence......by 2050 China will be the most powerful nation in the world......thats not very far away considering the US is over 200 yrs old........America needs a leader who will chart a new course......... inspire a new generation......and keep america strong.......the future the world will not have only one center there will be 3.....Brussels, Beijing, and Washington.......but if there isn't change now then there will only be 2

I wasn't. I was all for Hillary until she and Bill pulled that stunt and opened their mouths. After that, I switched to Obama.

It is what it is I guess. If it feels good do it. There was something that Aristotle said about the higher pursuits in life only appealing to a few, and the pursuits that appeal to all must then be degenerate.

Of course. You don't do your candidate of choice any favors by making such statements.

How long have McCain's staunchest fans been on board? Years? Try to be sensible, okay?

These Obamaites are emotion driven, and are oblivious to reason regarding the man's incompetence, his oppressive tax agenda and the every rotten liberal cause for which he stands.

Not only will he be the one to harm the economy (not McCain) but he is a liberal appeaser who will always deal softly with terrorists.
