My friend is designing my wedding invitations and I'm curious about pricing?

As I said, my friend is designing my invitations. They're pretty standard, square outer envelopes that fold up with a pouch, the top part is for the invite, bottom for the RSVP, etc. She'll be assembling them, printing the invitations and cutting the paper, and there's a slight chance she'll be addressing the invites (but I think I'd rather print them on the envelopes).

I will be purchasing a wax seal and sealing the inner envelopes with that, along with just a basic sticker seal for the outers. A friend of the family has volunteered to put the names on the inners in calligraphy for free.

What do you think it should cost me? I'm supplying the paper and envelopes.

Update:

oh yeah, and I'm pretty sure I'm buying the stamps (though we haven't gotten that far yet, I assume I am)

I made my invitations, although they were quite elaborate :)

    They cost me about $4/invitation.

I bought the brown folder and the envelopes. So ... I think without the folder, they'll be around $3 each?

I made my invitations for 40 people and it cost me about $30 with stamps. I have tons of scrapbooking stuff & I'm a graphic designer so I had most of the stuff to make them already. Not sure if that is the best answer for you.
