what are the bumps on the upper and outer part of my thighs!!?
I would like to know if I should go to the doctor or whether these bumps I have on my thighs are normal. I just noticed them yesterday when I was watching tv. I touched the outer part of my thighs and when I pushed down quite firmly and followed the outside of the thigh there were bumps. I cannot recall having had these ever before. Did I just never notice them??? I gained 20 kg when I was pregnant that I recently lost...could it have to do with the fat??
the bumps are under the skin...maybe 1-2 centimeters and quite large.

You can get them from wearing tight pants that rub those areas when you have hair on your legs or when hair is trying to grow in. They are most likely ingrown hairs or irritated hair folicles from being rubbed by the tight jeans. I get them too sometimes, but not if I shave often :o) Hope that helps!

sometimes i get little red bumps on my thighs after shaving, but i dont know if thats what your bumps are from...

it could be razor burns . you should go to the doctor anyway. its better safe than sorry
