  • I took the morning after pill and I have breast fed my baby?

I took the morning after pill NorLevo at 14:00 today. Then I breastfed my baby twice after this. Can this harm her????? It is now 18:00 and I am feeling dizzy myself. My husband is currently getting some formula milk so will not breast feeed her again until 20:00.

I spoke to my doctor in the morning and he said it was fine for the milk but it is only now that i read through the paper that came with the pill that you are not supposed to breastfeed 6h after taking it!!! Why did he not tell me this?

    I am panicking!

  • First a dry socket after removing wisdom tooth - now a constant headache (for over 3 weeks)?

I removed a lower wisdom tooth about 3 weeks ago. First I had a dry socket and was in extreme pain. When my dentist finally took me in and had a look (he had not believed me when I suggested the cause for my pain) he realized the cause for my pain cleaned the socket and we did 2 treatments. Now finally the pain is getting better in my jaw, cheek and ear (I have been on codine) but has moved up. I now have a constant headache every day. It is a pounding headache and usually starts with a pain which feels like someone is pushing a spear into my head. I am beginning to wonder if this pain will ever go away? I have been in constant pain for 3 weeks and I have had enough. What is this new headache? Do I need to go to the doctor??

  • Is it normal to say...?

The 1st thing my mother-in-law said to me at the maternity after giving birth to my son was...?

"oh my he has such BIG hands". I was shocked. I am still shocked. Is it normal to say something like this in relation to a new born. I mean I would not say anything but how cute he is or something similar even if the baby was extremely ugly.

This has continued and every time I am over at my parent-in-law, which is not often anymore, there are comments about the size of my son's hand. Yesterday I had enough. I just said it is time to leave to my husband when their family started talking about it again. I mean I would not say to my sister-in-law's husband that "I am always so amazed when I see your nose - it it so big and red". This is what he said about my son's hands, skipping color red, at yesterday's dinner and my mother-in-law jumped in and confirmed that oh yes his hands are so big and she noticed immediately at the hospital.

Am i being oversensitive? I think this is outrageous and not normal! I told my husband before that I do not accept this and now he is angry with me saying that it is a compliment to say that a baby has big hands. I never heard such bull all my life! What do you think.

I might as well add that my mother-in-law has immense hands for a woman and it is probably why she looks at hands in everybody else - no one except for my family-in-law has ever made a comment about my son's hands....I would never tell her though that you have huge hands for a woman - but then maybe I should!

I might as well add that my son is now 1 and a half years old and he will start understanding what people are saying and I am afraid of what these people are saying around him when I am not there. If he hears something many times enough he may believe it is true.

My maternal instincts tell me they are wrong but am I right? I am feeling really insecure about all this at the moment. Especially since my husband does not support me - and never really has for that matter anyway...

  • NO isofix points in new audi A6?

my parents have a new audi A& and I went and bought a child car seat for them as they will be taking care of my little son. To my surprise I now notice there are NO ISOFIX points in this car. Is this normal? DO you have to order this extra as an option? I even have isofix points in my Honda CRV from 2003.

Is it possible to ask a garage to put in isofix afterwards or is has to be done in the factory? is this expensive?

thank you so much for your help!!!

  • what are the bumps on the upper and outer part of my thighs!!?

what are the bumps on the upper and outer part of my thighs!!?

I would like to know if I should go to the doctor or whether these bumps I have on my thighs are normal. I just noticed them yesterday when I was watching tv. I touched the outer part of my thighs and when I pushed down quite firmly and followed the outside of the thigh there were bumps. I cannot recall having had these ever before. Did I just never notice them??? I gained 20 kg when I was pregnant that I recently lost...could it have to do with the fat??

  • Oxblood in soluble coffee (nescafe)????? (lyophilise)?

    Oxblood in soluble coffee????? (lyophilise)?

I have read that there is supposedly oxblood in soluble coffee (nescafe for example) to make it dissolve better. What exactly is lyophilise which is written on the pack!? When I look it up it is defined as - dry (blood, serum, or tissue) by freezing in a high vacuum. Does this mean the rumor is true???
