Saying you like fiction is a very broad statement. My favourite fiction book would have to be My Sisters Keeper by Jodi Picoult. I like both non fiction and fiction.

Some of those are from feminine views, a few could also be slightly "girly woman" in your liking however others must be k. I've left each style on and you'll come to a decision. Meryll of the Stone (Brian Caswell) Picnic at Hanging Rock (Joan Lindsay) Stranger with my face (Lois Duncan) Playing Beattie Bow (Ruth Parks) My Sister Sif (Ruth Parks) Hitch hikers consultant to the Galaxy (Douglas Adams) Holes (Louis Sachar) Lord of the Rings / The Hobbit Eragorn trilogy Narnia The Golden Compass Interview with a Vampire (Anne Rice) Requiem for a Princess (Ruth M Arthur) Looking for Alibrandi (Melina Marchetta) Angels Gate (Gary Crew) Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants Pelican's Creek (Maureen Pople) The Diary of Anne Frank To Kill a Mockingbird (Harper Lee) The Shiralee (Dárcy Niland) Into the Wild (John Krakauer) Chocolat (Joanne Harris) Harp within the South; Poor Man's Orange; Missus (Trilogy by means of Ruth Parks) Where the Heart is (Billie Letts) My Place (Sally Morgan) Little Women (Louisa May Alcott) Rebecca (Daphne De Maurier) The three Muskateers (Alexandre Dumas) Anything by means of the Bronte sisters or Jane Austen Whatever you do don’t run The December Boys (Robert Noonan)

  • 1 - I have many favorite books: The Princess Bride, To Kill A Mockingbird, Fahrenheit 451, In Cold Blood, and The Bell Jar are just a few. A newer author that I really enjoyed was Stephanie Kallos who wrote Broken For You. It's a pretty easy read, but it's enjoyable.

2 - I love fiction, but some nonfiction can be just as engrossing.

I don't have a favourite book, but the latest one I read that was really good is I Know This Much is True by Wally Lamb.

I like both fiction and non fiction

    1. The Princess Bride is my favourite book. But I really like the classics too. The Picture of Dorian Grey by Oscar Wilde is pretty good.

    2. Fiction. I don't like non-fiction at all. Biographies usually bore me.

    1. The Lies of Locke Lamora; Ender's Game; The Kite Runner; Pride and Prejudice; The Fountainhead; Shakespear's plays; The Outlander series; Walden; Trilogy of the Rings; Knight and Shining Armor...I could go on for days!

    2. Fiction

well that depends on what type of fiction your into?

I myself am a huge stephen king fan and love anything that's fantastical or with a horror theme.

    1. My favourite book is Cell by Stephen King, it is about a virus that gets transmitted through mobile phones and turns the human race into flesh eating zombies.

    2. I like a good mix of both, I enjoy non fiction books that are about wars, the human body and the effects drugs have on the brain.

For a great detective mystery with a lot of oompth, you might appreciate James Lee Burke's latest bestseller: "Swan Peak."

But, if your currents run deeper and you possess a cultivated taste for the adventure/thriller, then S. & J. Weatherton's "Blood Prophecy" might be the book for you.
