Viewing the Republican convention how come it doesn't look as diverse as America really is?

When i watched the DNC i saw whites, blacks, mexicans, asians and even muslims. With the RNC i counted 4 blacks and no one else different. It looked like a whites only AARP convention

Because the way African Americans are perceived. We always hear how the dems are the ones that care about them. They offer hand outs. When there is a African American in the party they are called sell outs or uncle toms.

The dems solution is have the government provide everything for minorities. Why do they want to give things, so one day they can take it away.

The Republican Solution close the gap in home ownership rates. This allows them to be able to create wealth. Home ownership is better than having to live in low income housing where the landlords do not fix things.

The reason for that is the Democrats fool enough African Americans to their lies. They tried to rewrite history and say they were the ones who freed the slaves during the civil war and gave them “Civil Rights Act of 1964" and many other civil rights. When in reality the Republicans voted and did most of it.

I noticed that too.

In fact I asked some questions yesterday (see my profile) about this same subject.

I saw a few (very few) African Americans, one Indian (not Native American, for those that are diversity adverse), one or two Asians, ZERO Hispanics. That was about it.

I guess this IS the blueprint of America...where whites still run things.

It showed in the crowd at the RNC.

America is still mostly white. Simple as that. Without the media blasting diversity in your face all day, most people would realize that. The republicans represent the areas of the country where most white people live.

Because the democratic Party caters to minorities and illegal immigrants, i.e. sanctuary cities, more free services not to mention (in case you didn't notice) the Democratic candidate is black - And unlike white America who helped Obama win the primary over the white Hillary Clinton - 98% of black people are voting for Obama rather than considering the white GOP candidate McCain.

I know. I watched the convention last night. I thought, where is the diversity? We live in a country where there are so many different races and cultures. None of them were really represented. What does that really say about the republican party?

It just seems more of the same. It also seems as though the dems had all the other groups (women, blacks, latinos, gays, etc). They are all clumped together.

Divided we fail.

Probably for the same reason you don't hear black entertainers & athletes admit they vote Republican (though they obviously do). What is that reason..they have been made to feel GUILTY & Shame. Not an easy task to be an Uncle Tom / Sell-Out black person and to be sighted with the ENEMY of all black people..Mr. Whitey himself.

It's not as diverse as America really is because minorities support liberals. Should we enforce Affirmative Action and enforce quotas so the RNC will look more diverse? Let people choose the Party they want to and leave race out of it.

The Democrats have been using minorities for their own purposes for years. You would think by now they, the minorities, would have wised up.

Who cares? Let me remind you that Republicans have done a better job of assigning cabinet positions to minorities than the Dems. Maybe they are more concerned with having the right people in the positions rather than filling a "quota"

It's also tough when minority groups are brainwashed into thinking they have to be Dems... We welcome any that actually care for their country.

The Dems do a good job of buying minority votes with social programs and handouts. The Dems love the idea of having the people NEED the government.
