What's your opinion of how Palin did delivering her speech despite a malfunctioning teleprompter?
"According to sources close to the McCain campaign, the teleprompter continued scrolling during applause breaks. As a result, half way through the speech, the speech had scrolled significantly from where Governor Palin was in the speech. The malfunction also occurred during Rudy Giuliani's speech, explaining his significant deviations from his speech.
Unfazed, Governor Palin continued, from memory, to deliver her speech without the teleprompter cued to the appropriate point in her speech."

I think she did very well, especially considering the malfunction. So do Wolf Blitzer, Chris Matthews, Tom Brokaw, etc. And I never heard her say "Um, um, um, um....."

Sorry folks, she's formidable. Like it or not, she's injected some much-needed enthusiasm into the McCain campaign. If B.O. had chosen HRC as his running mate, the Sarah Palin choice would be far less potent. The debates will be interesting. I'm a registered independent; the Dems have more of a challenge ahead than I had predicted. For months, I've already told my Republican friends that B.O. is a shoe-in. For lackluster McCain, this was the shine that his campaign really needed. It's sad, but ever since television emerged into our family rooms, American voters have been stirred more by emotion and charisma than by substantive politics/issues. Clinton, Kennedy and Reagan are examples of how the "charisma card" nearly always trumps experience or personal morality. Like it or not, she's thrown a wrench into the Obama campaign machine.

Sherilyn Fenn could have been a great decision. i think of the "Lifetime" community became searching for an aim marketplace and that they went with LL. She does have some followers. i'm no longer one. yet i don't experience like "rooting" for her(LL) to fail is a sturdy element. specific, extra effective performing options have been accessible. yet desiring somebody to Fail...i can't dig that. So,that being stated. LL is primary for some issues over right here. One is being a great Time F*ck Up. optimistically she would be waiting to turn that around. And characterize the Elizabeth Taylor all of us enjoyed. I doubt it however. BQ: Fenn.

She gave a good speech last night but I want to see her in a debate or answering tough questions from the media

Don't know...never watch political trash, nothing any of them say is the truth, it's all posturing and posing till the elections...then you see the reality. Everything prior to that is as much fantasy as is any cartoon show on saturday morning...even golf is more entertaining.

Regardless of any teleprompter malfunction, she recited a speech. She emphasized major points and gestured accordingly. She rehearsed her speech. Anyone can read a speech and stand on a stage. It was the content of the speech that I questioned.

She is very confident and composed, and speaks well. That doesn't make her either qualified or someone I would ever vote for.

Wow, that definately qualifies her to be VP.
And she knows how to sell stuff on ebay too.
