Question about getting a new hatchback car.?
Hello,
I am interested in getting a new car and really like the small hatchbacks for style. I was curious what anyone thought of the 09 Aveo that just came out.
The new gas mileage seems pretty good, only two less than the Yaris but I like the design a lot more on the Aveo. But I have heard some bad things about it for handling and interior noise from it running and was also curious if that was just because it was a hatchback?

I've always heard that Aveo's arent great cars. I have an 08 Honda Fit, and I absolutely LOVE it! Everyone who sees my car, or rides in it, fall in love with it and want one too. The yaris is also a better car than the aveo. I especially like my car cause its small, yet very roomy inside(my boyfriend is 6ft8 and he fits in it better than my last car which was a camry). And the gas mileage is awesome too!

even with comparing the Yaris and the Aveo you have a difference of 5 grand or so, and the Yaris is an entry vehicle. In this case it would be you are getting what you pay for. My advise take both vehicles for a test drive and make a decision based on how you feel on them, also it would give you a starting point to look at other manufacturers vehicles too.
