So what? You would be giving all our military secrets and command of our brave warriors to a member of a sect that wants the US wiped off the earth, as a central, permanent doctrine. It would be suicidal for the US to elect him as President.

You have to take that in context. He followed it up by saying "Well, what I'm saying is he hasn't suggested that I'm a Muslim" in the very next sentence.
Basically he was telling the interviewer that the rumors he was a Muslim didn't come from McCain. So in other words he's saying McCain had been above board on the faith issue in the same way Obama had been above board in not criticizing Palin's family.

If you're going to tell this story, TELL ALL OF IT. Obama corrected Stephanopoulos, because Obama's meaning was that John McCain has not talked about Obama being a Muslim, which is what the man said. This Muslim crap is ridiculous. NO Muslim will ever recognize Jesus Christ as his or her savior, as Obama has done. Never would a Muslim claim Jesus Christ. Please, educate yourself!

you should cite a source that shows what was said before and after so people may derive their own context not yours..
And everyone on here knows I am not an Obama supporter.

It was some kind of slip up....but he seemed to say it so naturally...like he really was a muslim in another time and place...really weird. He didn't even realize his mistake until corrected.
