hell no. the titans are NOT the best team in the AFC...i wouldn't say the patriots are the best team in the AFC now either. the pats won against one of the worse teams in the NFL so u can't say they are better than the colts, chargers, and jags even tho they all lost. with tom brady gone for the season, the pats are a good team at best. they aren't great, but they are still good. the chicago bears defense is back again and laid the wood against the colts. peyton manning just came of surgery so of course he'll be shaky his first game of the season. the panthers could be a playoff contender once steve smith gets back in the mix, so the chargers didn't play a shitty team. the chargers STILL have a lot of key players that didn't play so don't count them out yet. the titans have a great defense, but they've always had a mediocre offense. the top AFC teams that lost today are STILL the top AFC teams today. week 1 doesn't mean much.

LMAO u can't be serious. It sucks our Colts lost today but be for real. The Colts are still the top team in the AFC (yeah and New England is arguably #1- but after today..hummm?). The Jags and Chargers and are betters than your Titans. And like someone said, this is week 1. I'm not taking anything away from the Chargers because of a week 1 loss. They are the #3 team in the AFC. The Titans are at best #5

you might want to rethink your entire theory here ... remember the start the Chargers got off to last year? yyyeeeah, I don't think one week's worth of football is worth turning over the entire AFC and putting a borderline Wildcard team in the Super Bowl ... so I'll tell you what I think right now, considering that Tom Brady is out for the year and Peyton Manning just saw his first game action since January, and probably by laws of nature will perform better than he did today as he puts his injury behind him and the game slows down:
1. San Diego
2. Jacksonville
3. New York
4. Indianapolis
5. Pittsburgh
6. Buffalo
Of course, it's impossible for this to be the seeding since Jax and Indi are in the same division, but I picked this in order of best records ... the Jets have a ridiculously easy schedule and a rejuvenated team and that's why I see them where they are, and the Bills will take advantage of a suddenly weaker AFC East and overachieve, at least according to some ... Pittsburgh may underachieve, that's a question that remains to be seen and that's where things may get interesting ...
New England will still be fighting for a playoff spot and for all I know, they'll make it.. Brady may have been a big piece of the puzzle, but nevertheless, he's still just A PIECE of the puzzle ... the Patriots still have a ton of talent ..
As far as your Titans, they are a good team, but they're just in too tough a division .. best of luck anyway

Well they are underated. They pulled out a good win today and people also underestimate the Jaguars. The Jaguars were one of the toughest team to beat last season. However, I do think the Jaguars and Colts will fall off this season leaving the Titans to take the AFC South.
They just need to work on there offence and Vince Young definately needs to prove himself and everyone that he is a good QB.

The bears defence looked incredible, and orton didn't look gross, man.
Just because the browns lost to the cowboys, don't count them out, because the cowboys might be this years best team. And, um, in case you missed it, the notorious number four won his first game with the jets. It wasn't pretty, but lots of brett's wins aren't pretty.
The titans still need a couple of years to be a true contender for the super bowl. Their offensive line isn't together enough yet. And, also in case you missed it, the promising mister young went down in the fourth quarter with an injury.

Are they even in the top 5 best? It's only week One.And if anyone can beat the Texans, won't the Titans get 2 chances this year to do that?

hahaha..whats up with the hatin?
I like the steelers, also I'm a big Vince Young fan cuz he is from HOUSTON.
I think Colts are still at the top of the one, but I like the Titans chances because of my boy Vince Young.
I'm a Texans fan, I think they should be better than last season this year.

pats are still good
you can put oprah winfrey in the pats offense as qb and sheld reach 3,200 yards and at least 25 TDs by the time the season ends
titans have an injured qb
no recievers
no o line
and no secondary
how are they suppose to win? pray they dont get beat by rivers to chambers, jackson, and gates in the air? how about manning to harrison, wayne, clark, or even addai in the air? or how are they still going to stop moss and welker... the best recieving tandem in the nfl?
come on man
the titans suck
and as long as you continue to not make improvements on offense you wont win!
young wil end up on that IR all season baby
face the facts

and once again the NFC outbeat the AFC. this season, the series begins NFC over the AFC 3-1. Vince Young is a bust, so the Titans are not the best of the AFC.

U said anyone could beat my Houston Texans ok. With been 1-0 Titans dont mean they are best.
What if Houston beat Titans it will be no one beat titans but Texans did.
