Now that autumn is almost here?

Do you take walks in the woods to feel the crispness of the leaves underfoot, and to look at the beautiful fall colors? Do you walk more in the fall than other times of year?

Autumn is so beautiful, we live in the country and there are many trees to see. I like walking across our creek and on up the path with the leaves falling all around. Our cats follow me and run every where chasing leaves. It is hard to explain the feeling I get at this time of year, peaceful, that 's what it is. Poppy

Oh, yes. I really dislike the heat-- always have. I love walking on a crisp fall day. I don't have to go far to have leaves underfoot, however. My front porch is already covered with them!! I also love going to the state fair in the fall.

I loved my walks through all the season all through my life. My hubby and I always walked together.

He walks every morning, but for the last 6 years I have not been able to walk on my own,

I make up for it. I sit on my front or back porch and I really do, enjoy each day and evening with a cup of coffee or a spot of tea.

I love the beauty of our four seasons as they come and go.

My favorite quote says it all for me,

"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take,

but by the moments that take our breath away."

    Good question. Life is good.

We now live in FL where there isn't a lot of change like there is some places we have lived, but we do enjoy fall and usually go north to visit the trees and fall colors that we don't have here. We don't miss the cold weather north of us though.

Yes, everyone feels the extra spark of energy when the temperature drops and leaves begin to fall. It is still a little early, but another week or two and we will begin to really feel it. Makes you want to be outdoors and good thing, too, because there is lots to do getting ready for winter.

I love the colors of fall. I love kicking the leaves and hearing them swish. I love the coolness of fall so I can wear hand knit sweaters. I love craft fairs and apple picking and the blue blue September sky. Walking? That's easier once the mosquitoes aren't around to carry you off.

I love fall, it always makes me want positive change in my life for some reason. And I do enjoy being outdoors more in the fall than any other season.

Fall is such a great season. Colors are beautiful in the mountains.

No I don't walk more in fall, but it is my favorite time of year, and I like to eat pumpkin a lot.

I would love to but with my allergies it is not a good idea. Fall is the worst time of year for me.
