Honestly, you who are using this site in the politics section, are you older than 16?
There's no fault in being naive when your young and the internet allows for anonymity, some of the opinions expressed in the politics section only make sense if they are coming from a young teen.
So, is that it...or has America gone totally insane?

I'm 28. Many on here are older than teens. Many are quite naive, stupid, passive/aggressive, and just plain mean. It's easy to be all these things when you don't have to face another person.

I have answered questions in the political section a few times, although not many, and I am only 13, will be turning 14 soon. In fact, you can see for yourself Im 13...

See?
And hey, I admit, I probably know close to nothing about politics compared to say, the President, or Mccain or Obama, and the politicians on Fox and CNN, but I do know a lot and I'm going to have my say when I want. And a lot of people my age know more than adults think they know.
And thats it. America hasn't gone totally insane.

I actually would admire a 16 year old who digs into the issues enough to come up with an opinion of their own, not one pounded into their head by their parents or ministers or friends.
But yes, I am much older than 16. I am the mom of a 16 year old, who is trying to be well informed herself. She doesn't get on Y/A.

I'm way over 16 and I think it's great that people under 16 take an interest in politics.
- How do you think about the answers? You can sign in to vote the answer.

This is ageless.
If you ask someone who they are voting for, they'll give you an answer but they will have almost nothing to back it up.
So many people are stupid when it comes to politics and they shouldn't be allowed to vote until they become educated.
If people took the time to actually learn about Ron Paul practically everyone would have voted for him. Am I wrong?

America is not quite insane yet but i think another 4 years of a Bush-like (McCain) president will do the trick. And if he became president and died Palin as Vice President? .....H3L1 No! We'd be totally doomed.
Obama is my choose if i could vote.

I'm 15, but unlike many of my older peers on Y/A I research issues and then come to a conclusion.
My conclusion is many attacks from Liberals are more emotion based.
Many attacks from Conservatives are more fact based.
In politics, what matters more?

I'm well over 16. I think we need to change our structure so that more than two parties actually stand a chance!

Little of both, friend. But my instincts say that the blathering idiots in general would be Republican, because that half has the most blind rhetoric that's all with the fences and pies. People who say McCain is old or Palin's unqualifed could be ten for all I know.
