Compensation from Bridal Shop in JB?
My pre-wedding photos are lost because my photographer left his laptop in his car due to his negligence. Even if he left his laptop in car, he should keep it inside the boot and no somewhere it can be seen from outside.
Do you think that the bridal shop should compensate me? In what ways?

I'd speak to a lawyer. You only get one shot at wedding photos, and due to his negligence he has lost the lot.
Are you sure the only place her had them stored was in his laptop? Didn't he have them backed up on a disk or even still in his cameras memory card?
Good luck sweet heart, I know it wont bring back your photos but you need to do what you can so that this will never happen to anyone else.

I agree with you and I'll bet a judge would as well since it was certainly stupid. If you have no prewedding photos, then you should receive your money back for the cost of the photography involving the pre-wedding photos unless he is willing to reshoot them (formal portraits done in a studio). You won't have exactly the same photos that you would have had from the prewedding shoot, but formal wedding photos could also be very unique and make up for the loss.

Yes, they should compensate you. I would speak to the manager or someone higher if you can and if they do not come to the party, I would either speak to a lawyer or contact someone who deals with business affairs

They should compensate you by letting you take the photos again, with no additional cost, since u paid for it, and never received them. if they refused to take for you again, you can sue them for breach of contract.

making money off the situation will not recreate your pics
