NO... the Republican party has become a party of whiners however.

Between McCain crying about "lipstick on a pig", whining about the Tina Fey impersonation of Palin, whimpering about how mean the women on the View are and weeping about how biases the media is... I'd say he has gotten so soft he almost has a v@gina.

Look at McCain the last few weeks... he's turned into a Tampon commercial he is so whiney.

Phil Gramm, the author of this phrase is like the pot calling the kettle black!

Yes, and for people to say that this is the worst economic time the country has faced are full of it. Most people who are complaining are just upset because they can't buy their spoiled kid his third IPOD because they have to pay more for gas. There are truly unfortunate people in this country, and I'm not referring to them. But if you notice, they're not the ones complaining. It's the lazy, selfish entitlement-minded deadbeats and the democratic lies about the true economic picture that make us a nation of whiners.

Govt. and charitable programs are enough to help the truly deserving. We don't need more hand-outs, stimulus packages, and corporate bailouts just to keep someone from losing a home they never should have gotten in the first place, or to make sure they can pay for their second or third car, internet, cell phones, cable TV packages costing over $150.00 a month, and every other thing Americans consider necessities. If people were actually starving in the streets, then they would have a case. But luxuries have become necessities in their minds and it will be the ruin of us all if Obama gets in and has his wealth re-distribution program implemented.

Phil Gramm co-authored the Gramm-Rudmann Act that was passed during Bonzo's reign. After serving three tours of SE Asia and being honorably discharged after 13 years, I expected to receive my guaranteed G.I. Bill education benefits. Gramm-Rudmann went into effect and reduced my benefits by 60%. Anything Mr. Gramm has to say must be from the far back side of his oral cavity.

No. The "whining" comment from none other than the Enron-loophole, former Texas Senator Phil Gramm is the pot calling the kettle black. McCain has stated that the fundamentals of our economy are strong and had to clarify "fundamentals" as the working people. Anyone who understands fiscal issues understands that "fundamentals" relate to every major institution we observe failing in a rapid domino effect. These fans of deregulation are now changing their tunes. A little to late for the "whiners", who are paying the ultimate price of dereg and greed.

No, we have become a nation of justified complainers. The government has deregulated everything in sight giving big companies total advantage over us and our freedom. We can no longer lead our lives as we wish without greedy people and the Bush/Cheney administration getting in our way with their supposed "deregulation."

By the way, are you same person, whom I enjoyed, who used to call herself "Stuck in Scrubs"?
