Stick out your tongue, say AH!

I cannot find a downloadable jessescript true type font that will install onto my MAC. I've been to every website I can imagine and downloaded and my best hope is that someone has it on their system and can perhaps email me a working copy.

Do you have this font? Any font collectors out there?

I have a shih-tzu that is 7 months old and her hair is getting a little long. Rather than take her to the groomer, I thought I could do it myself with a little electric clipper. I bought a nice little Remington with a vacuum feature, but she's terrified of the thing. I have one leg too short (1/4 inch too long) and the other is about 3 inches and there's no way this dog is going to allow me to get her even. I wonder if there's a secret to this. I can't really afford a groomer once a month or so, but if that's what it takes....

Anyone out there successfully get your dog over an incredible fear of an electric grooming shear? And what can I do to help my dog overcome the fear.

Would you vote for Palin?

If John McCain doesn't live through his presidency, our president will be Sarah Palin and frankly that thought absolutely terrifies me. Whether or not I like John McCain, Sarah Palin is the best contingency plan he could come up with? And if they are re-elected the chances of him not surviving his term are greater. As Laura Bush said "She's a quick study." Well - she dam well better be.

How long does an icicle stuffed in a 98.6 degree body really last? And would that tip stay so sharp in that kind of heat? I'm an RN and I can also tell you that if a doctor from somewhere came in and started playing hero in our ER, we'd consider him a little "off" if you know what I mean. Also, NO DOCTOR in their right mind would half way read about a procedure and then ATTEMPT it on a patient.

I'm just curious about this. I had never even heard of Sarah Palin. I bet there are a lot of people who never had and then suddenly she's the VP candidate. Seriously girls, what makes Sarah Palin better than any other Republican option for VP?

I'm voting for Obama regardless. The sad fact is that closet bigots will remain so.

1. He was always cleared for active duty with physicals etc.

2. He was on orders when he went into A-Fib and rushed to a civilian hospital. Discovered he had cardiomyopathy. Cardiomyopathy can be viral etc. They put him on meds.

3. Military took him back to active duty with the meds.

4 Had another episode of cardiomyopathy, but this time issued medical discharge after 16 years of service active military and reserves.

5. First time he applied, denied needed more medical records.

6. We got everything to them and filed an appeal.

7. 13 months later, received second denial. This time they cited that the disease process followed a natural course.

His VA doctor as an O.D. Some say medical doctor with even more training. I am an RN and we've never had one OD on staff at our hospital. Anyway, he's really bummed. He had to have an internal defibrillator implanted this summer, his ejection fraction is low, and he's slipped a bit into heart failure.

We're going to appeal a third time and can we insist that he see a CARDIOLOGIST?
