Is the Democrat strategy for difficult problems to leave town?

They might as not be there now as they have no answers and they have benefited from any thing that they will do. They are like Obama and put their self ahead of every thing and their country and this will be the promises for their agenda only.

It seems to work for them. They seem to be completely unaccountable and get away with doing absolutely nothing.

They didn't even fulfill a single promise made to Democrats in 2006, and they will pretty much get re-elected, business as usual.

When no one seems to care, we get what we deserve.

The demand for oil went down because the price was so high as well as the US economy going down the drain. The price didn't go down because bush said he wanted to drill. Not to mention the summer is coming to an end so oil demand goes down around this time anyway. Learn some economics from someone other than McSame.
