yep, give her a promise ring. that's so sweet and kind...
girls--or rather, all human beings are attracted to shiny things to be honest...
even if you say, "I don't dig that stuff", but when you actually own one and stare at one long enough, you just become obsess with it and find them very attractive.
they're generally attractive but expensive.
I wish my boyfriend gets me anything at all! ¬¬
Source(s): i don't generally dig into jewelleries, but when my mother gave me her engagement ring that was passed down from her mom, I just kept staring... and by the time I knew it, it was beautiful.. but in general, when looking at jewellery else where, NOT INTERESTED. When it was given to me, I was more interested and welcomed the piece of jewellery on my finger :) - 1 decade ago
I think promise rings are a good way to show someone how much they mean and how much you love them, so yeah go for it. That is a sweet gift for saying good bye. Hope she likes it :)

Aw! That sounds really sweet. I would ask her if she wanted one first though. Some girls aren't into that sort of thing and don't want to deal with long distance relationships. If she says yes, get her a silver one with a tiny gemstone in it.

any one of these especially the ones with little hearts
they are fairly inexpensive, but they also come in gold if you want it a little fancier
