GPA question!!!!!!!!?
Okay 2 questions....
1. Do you think it's better to have a GPA of 3.8 for all four years in highschool or to get a higher GPA as you progress, such as a 3.2 then a 3.5 then a 3.8 etc....
2. if you get a 89% it's still counts as a 3 right. You get say that, that's a 4
*When I say which is better for question one I meant which one do universites find more attractive.

1. Get the highest GPA you can each year. Don't plan to slack off and still get into a good school. If you can keep up a consistently good GPA, that looks better than having to work your way up to one.
2. If you're school counts 80 - 89 as a B, then yes, that's a 3.0. If they use pluses and minuses, that could be a B+, or 3.3.

i attend graduate school at columbia, though if you had seen my gpa three years ago you would never guess. i had a 2..8 gpa for my first two years and then my second two i got 3.75 so averaged it was 2.9
this is slightly different from underrgrad but both are fine. what is important is that you show progress and commitment.
