His official standing for cancelling the debate and Letterman is that he needs to go help out with the Wall Street thing. Problem is that Letterman caught him doing an interview with Katy Curic. Hmmmm.
He will most likely push his Friday debate back almost a week and eliminate the VP debate which is supposed to be on Thursday of next week.
